How to Apply latest fixes?

Apr 13, 2015 at 9:12 AM
Hi all,

on the home screen there is a hint that the latest hotfixes are available in the master branch.

But how can i apply these fixes?
Can someone help me to do this?

Thanks in advance!

To upgrade:
  1. Backup your current IIS folder
  2. Perform a backup using the Dashboard (may not be available in older versions)
  3. Download the latest code and extract the zip file.
  4. If you've downloaded the source code, locate the KBVault.Web folder
  5. Replace the entire contents of the IIS site/application with the contents of the KBVault.Web folder.
(unless you have uploaded files/image content to the site in which case backup the Uploads folder first)
(unless you have performed a backup in step 2, in which case backup the BackupArchives folder first)
  6. Update the settings in the Web.config file to reflect your SQL server info (see installation documentation)
  7. Go to the command prompt (CMD) and do an IISReset
  8. Reload the website in your browser

any ideas for how to fix this if after performing the steps above
it now says the "The directory '/App_GlobalResources/' is not allowed because the application is precompiled."
Exception Details: System.Web.HttpException: The directory '/App_GlobalResources/' is not allowed because the application is precompiled.
